What to Wear

Proper attire is extremely important to ensure safety of both horse and rider. We provide ASTM approved helmets of various sizes and require all students wear one at all times when mounted.

What you will need:

  • Long pants – Not baggy or loose
  • Closed toe shoes with a slight heel (Like a boot). Tennis shoes are not permitted

Your instructor may regulate activities in a lesson based on attire for safety reasons. Graham always has safety as our #1 priority.

Graham accepts the following forms of payments at the time the lesson is given. Any late payments will be charged a late fee for each day not received.

*Please note that all credit charges/online payments require a $5 fee.

I thought I saw a sign that said horse back riding lessons 5$ is that true? Do you ever have specials? My daughter is going through a hard time right now and I want to surprise her with a one time ride and to show her the horses and how they live and what it takes to take care of them. She’s 6 years old

      Hi there,

Our lesson prices are $60 for a private, $50 for semi private or $40 for a group. We do offer pony rides at special events which are cheaper. Check out our events calendar! Going into winter, we do not have any more movie nights, but stay tuned for an updated 2016-2017 calendar of events.

What is a good age to start lessons? My grand daughter is 3 and I want to know how early you suggest.

Hi! We usually start around age 5 but can start younger if the child’s balance is above average…we may stipulate they remain in private lessons though until they are a bit older and can focus with multiple riders in the ring.

My autistic granddaughter loves horses and neen wanting to ride a horse . Do your instructors stay right with the horse guideing them . I understand that it cost more as the instructor will have to make special accommodations .

Hi Rachel, thanks for speaking with me yesterday. As I mentioned on our call, I would like to arrange a semi-private lesson for my daughter and son (age 4 and 6) for my daughters birthday. She is really into horses and I was hoping the lesson could include learning more about horses and an opportunity to groom, feed, and ride a horse. Ideally, we’d prefer the lesson to occur on 9/16 or 9/17. I know you are unfortunately away that weekend. Is another instructor available. Thanks, Raquel
